Happy Year of the Cock

Forget about this Rooster or Chicken thing - it's the year of the cock. I started my blog a year ago on Chinese New Year. Never thought I'd be here now - working as a chef at the Crillon - and now writing from a McDo's in Paris Chinatown - they have free wi-fi. I did not get that apartment - but it must have been for a reason. I've been too lucky in the past few years since I started down this path - so I know it must have been for a good reason. I have to go now - having pho with friends to celebrate. Back to work tomorrow. We're retiring the corn from the menu soon. Valentine's Day menu tomorrow - 350 euros. Will try to write more soon.
